Trap Black
using the tap rite of spirit when black rose dragon effect activates?
Can I use the rite of spirit trap against black rose dragons effect. this guy said no because is would go into “reverse chain” what heck is reverse chain. I have 7 yrs exp. I won some tourneys at home. i took some time off now everything has changed could you help me out so I could have a better understanding? also could somebody tell me how a monster would take “priority” over traps.

I don’t see the point of doing that….
When Black Rose declares that it’s going to destroy every card, you CAN chain Rite of Spirit, but since chains resolves backwards, the special summoned monster would be destroyed along with Rite of Spirit
Oh, and you misunderstood the term “Priority”
Monsters don’t have Priority, it’s the player that has them
Are you refering to summoning a monster and call priority before it gets Bottomlessed ??
When a monster is summoned during the main phase, the player has “Priority” to activate an “Ignition Effect” before the opponent can respond to the summoning
Once you activates something, priority is then passed to the opponent which can respond with something of theirs
(As long as it has a speed spell 2 or higher)
